My loving friends,  With profound sorrow and a heart weighed down by grief, I share the passing of my most beloved eldest sister, Saramma (Ammini) George, daughter of Pallipad Kadackel, late Koshy, and Pennamma Kurien. She went home to the Lord peacefully at 2:35 pm today, Friday, April 24, 2026, in Dallas Fort Worth, Texas, held close by the family who loved her so deeply.

The love, prayers, and messages that have come from near and far have humbled me beyond words. Every prayer, every kind word, every thought has reached us and is being held close in our hearts during this painful hour.

My sister’s life was a quiet offering. She found her joy in serving others and lifting every soul she met before God in prayer, never asking anything in return. Her faith in Christ never wavered. It was steady, gentle, and full of light. She lived in a way that reflected Him so naturally, so beautifully. If she could speak to us now, I know she would ask us to live in peace, to honor one another, to care for each other with tenderness, and to remain faithful in prayer.

Ammama was blessed with two sons, K.G. John (Biju), married to Denscy, and Binu K. George, married to Geena, and three precious grandchildren who were the joy of her heart. She is also survived by her brothers Kurian Koshy, Thampy Kurian, and myself, Fr. Alexander J. Kurien, and our sister Lilly Kurien, all settled in the United States.

I place her into the loving hands of our Lord, trusting in His mercy. May He grant her rest among His saints, and may His love hold and strengthen our grieving family in the days ahead.

May her memory be eternal. αιώνια η μνήμη.

Funeral details will be shared soon. I humbly ask you to keep us in your prayers.

With love and prayers,

In Christ,

Fr. Alexander J. Kurien Achen

Washington DC, USA
