Rev. Fr. Dr. Tinesh Pinarkayil is a distinguished Catholic priest, media psychologist, and educator whose work bridges the gap between spiritual formation, psychological resilience, and modern technology. An incardinated priest of the Archdiocese of Kottayam, he currently serves in the Diocese of Rajkot as the Parish Priest of Veraval and a member of the Presbyteral Council.
Academic Excellence
Dr. Pinarkayil’s academic journey is a testament to his commitment to understanding the human condition. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a Post-Graduate degree in Psychology. He furthered his studies in Europe, earning a Licentiate from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. Complementing his theoretical knowledge with practical experience, he completed a journalism internship with Shalom World USA. Most recently, he was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Media Psychology from Sunrise University, Alwar.

Born to Mr. P.M. Kurian and Mrs. Gracy Kurian of Kallar Parish (Kasargod), Fr. Tinesh was ordained in 2014. He has since amassed extensive pastoral experience, serving communities in Piravom, Puthussery, Neerikad, Mannanam, Nattassery, Senapathy, Kumarakom, and Kurumuloor.
Beyond parish ministry, he has held significant administrative portfolios within the Archdiocese of Kottayam, including:
• Founding Director: Apnades TV and Online Editor of the Apnades Portal.
• Director: Cherupushpa Mission League (during its historic 75th Jubilee Year).
• Chairman: Archdiocesan Media Commission, Youth Commission, and Pious Associations.
• Chaplain: Knanaya Catholic Youth League (KCYL).

• Assistant Director: Thuvanisa Prayer House.
