The Indian Nurses Association of Illinois (INAI) is committed to advancing the health and well-being of our communities. Today, more than ever, we recognize the urgent need to address the growing mental health crisis among our youth and families.
Cultural and generational barriers, along with the stigma surrounding mental health, often prevent timely help. That’s why INAI is partnering with Kenneth Young Center to provide a FREE one-day Youth Mental Health First Aider Training for students in 12th grade and above.
Date: Saturday, October 11, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: St. Thomas Syro Malabar Church, Bellwood, IL
Seats: Limited to 30 participants
Certificate awarded at completion
This training will equip youth with the courage, resilience, and skills to face challenges as they prepare for higher studies and independent living. It will also empower them to support their peers.
