Chicago: On May 17, 2025, the Chicago Knanaya Catholic Society Women’s Forum organized a memorable lunch cruise to Navy Pier, bringing together around 100 participants for a day filled with fellowship, fun, and breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline.
The day began at the Knanaya Community Center, where attendees gathered before boarding two charter buses to downtown. Dressed in coordinated blue bottoms and white shirts, the group made a vibrant and unified impression—perfect for capturing group photos and creating lasting memories.
Thanks to the thoughtful efforts of the Women’s Forum executives, the journey itself was full of enjoyment, with snacks and entertainment provided on the buses. The event ran smoothly from start to finish, blessed with good weather, no traffic, and an excellent meal served aboard the cruise.
Participants cherished the opportunity to relax, meet new faces, and spend quality time with the community in such a joyful and scenic setting.
Special thanks go to the dedicated coordinators—Becky Idiyalil, Jetsy Idiyalil, Sume Chakkalakel, and Mekha Thandacheril—whose hard work and planning were instrumental in making the day such a success.
Mannu thirunelliparambil (secretary) Shanil Vettikattu (president) Denny Thuruthuvelil (treasurer) Jinu Nediyakalayil (vice president) took the leadership of the program.
