With deep sorrow, we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Aleyamma Puramattathil, a member of Njeezhoor Infant Jesus Parish, originally from the Thottickattu Family, Areekkara. She was the beloved wife of Late Joseph Puramattathil and the sister of our parishioners Achamma Mattathikunnel and Joseph (Thampi) Thottickattu.
Mrs. Aleyamma was the loving mother of:
• Betty and Joy Pullorkunnel (Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic church Chicago)
• Beena and Sunil Joseph Idukkutharayil (Kaipuzha)
• Tomy Joseph
Cherished grandmother of Kevin, Steve, and Alphonsa Pullorkunnel, and Brian and Hanna Idukkutharayil.
She was the dear sister of Mariyakutty Thekkumkattil (Bison Valley), Late Luka Thottickattu, Late Thomas Thottickattu, Philip Thottickattu (Puthuveli), Achamma Mattathikunnel (Kallara), and Joseph (Thampi) Thottickattu (Chicago).
Funeral details will be announced later.
A Memorial Mass will be offered today (Thursday, November 6, 2025) at 7:00 PM at Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Church, Maywood.
